Admission to the Pool
Pool tags are required to access the pool. Property Assessments must be current to obtain pool tags.
Pool tag forms are mailed with the annual assessment to every MBV property owner prior to the April 1st assessment due date. You may receive your pool tags by completing the Mills Branch Village Community Association Information Form for Pool Tags.
Tentative Distribution Dates:
Sunday, May 7, 2023 - 2pm to 4pm
Sunday, May 14, 2023 - 2pm to 4pm
Saturday, May 20, 2023 - 2pm to 4pm
Sunday, May 28, 2023 - 2pm to 4pm
All distribution dates will be held at the Mills Branch Village Community Room
After May 28, 2023, Pool Tags will need to be picked up at the Sterling ASI Office, during normal business hours, Located at 1521 Green Oak Place, Suite 196, Kingwood, TX 77339. Fax: 832-678-5580 or Email: Kingwood@sterlingasi.com and will incur a $10.00 administration fee per application and will need to be paid by check, money order or credit card.
Lifeguards are not handing out pool tags. If you do not have a pool tag, you will be denied entry into the pool area. No exceptions.
All Patrons must wear a current pool tag on their wrist at all times while inside the fenced area of the pool. Patrons not complying with this rule will be denied access to the facility.
Please be sure to sign in when entering and sign out when leaving the pool. Please note that 2 guests are allowed per 1 owner pool tag.
Age Limit: No child under ten (10) years of age allowed without adult supervision. Children under ten (10) years of age must be accompanied by an adult eighteen (18) years of age or older at all times. Children ages ten (10) and older may swim without being accompanied by an adult if they are able to pass the local swim test administered by the lifeguard staff.
Swimming Attire: All swimmers must wear bathing suits. No cut-off jeans, shorts or other attire allowed in the pool. Light colored t-shirts may be worn in the pool but may not have any verbiage or pictures on them.
Infants and toddlers must wear swim diapers while swimming in the pool. Changing of diapers may only occur in the restrooms.
No pets are permitted within the fenced area of the pool.
Safety Rules
The lifeguard on duty has full authority to enforce all rules of the pool.
No Patron shall be allowed to swim with open cuts, wounds, sores or contagious diseases.
Three short whistles signal you to exit the pool immediately.
Thunder/lightning rule is enforced. A storm is deemed ended by lifeguards only and usually when there has been no sound of thunder or evidence of lightning within the prior 30 minutes. The lifeguards will signal when the pool is reopened.
Wading pools are restricted to children five (5) years of age and under.Parents must monitor their children at all times.
Diving Board and Slide
Patrons must be able to swim the entire length of the pool in order to use the diving board, slides or deep end of the pool. It is at the sole discretion of the lifeguard to ask any Patron to take a swim test to prove their swimming ability.
Only one person on the diving board or slide at a time.
Inner tubes, rafts and other aquatic toys may only be used in the shallow area of the pool with lifeguard approval.
No diving allowed where the depth of the water is less than six (6) feet.
No back dives or flips off the side of the pool.
No glass, alcoholic beverages, or smoking permitted at the pool.
No loud or abusive language, inappropriate behavior will be tolerated.
No food or drink allowed in the pool water.
No loud music allowed.
No tennis balls or other hard balls allowed within the pool facility.
No bicycles, skateboards or roller blades allowed inside the fenced area. It is highly recommended that all bicycles are parked and locked at the bike stations.
MBV is not responsible for theft of personal belongings.
